Newswatch TV Reviews

A Brief Review of NewsWatch TV

News Watch TV can be described as a media company dedicated to the art of keeping an eye on technology, entertainment, travel and various types of consumer reviews. It is a one-stop-shop for those of you want to know what is trending in these areas. News Watch TV was one of the first of its kind to combine this formula. The company started back in 1990 and is owned by Bridge Communications LLC. The programs produced by this company is shown on AMC as well as ION affiliated channels.

What makes News Watch TV continuously relevant is because they are constantly evolving. In its first years, the company produced shows discussing what was happening in the financial world. However, as the world changed with the arrival of the Internet, they began giving more importance to entertainment and social media, in order to keep up with the times. They even added a new segment concentrating on technology, starting in 2011. In fact, one of the most popular segments today is the “AppWatch” segment. The Appwatch segment is brought to the viewer by one of their popular reporters, Andrew Tropeano.

Paid VS Editorial

One of the things that make Newswatch TV a little different compared to their competitors is that they offer editorials as well as paid segments. Paid segments involve letting companies market their products, through their shows. This is only done after the product is put through an editorial review process. Some of the other hosts include Michelle Ison, Chris Vaughn, and Susan Bridges. Newswatch TV has now evolved into a complete news program that also covers politics, medicine, music, and entertainment. They also give public service announcements and onsite interviews via satellite.
